The Physically Disabled Pairs teams managed to return two wins and two defeats against the ever-improving Irish side. Mary Wilson & Gary Brown produced a solid second half performance to eventually get the better of Glenn Kaufmann & Keith Tinney 17-11. John Wardrope & Lee Mitchell were peels at 9-9 after 13 ends against Chris McCombe and Paul Smyth but managed to produce the goods at the last two ends to clinch a 17-9 victory.
Mark Fleming & Stuart Stevens were peels playing the last end against Conor McCann & Brian Smyth but agonisingly lost the shot to go down 14-15 in a brilliant encounter. Billy Allan & Andrew Fleming also came up short to Francis Bell & Tom Evans, losing out 9-19.
Both Scottish Visually Impaired Pairs chalked up victories to bring a pleasing end to their campaign.
