Players selected for 2024 International Assessment Days

Following on from the conclusion of the inaugural Podium Open events, Bowls Scotland is pleased to announce the players that have progressed through to our International Assessment Days on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June.

A total of 189 players and directors will now take part in this weekend’s respective Men’s, Women’s, Para, U25 and U18 International Assessment Days.

Speaking ahead of the International Assessment Days, Bowls Scotland’s Head of High Performance Bowls, Kareena Cuthbert said: “I am delighted with the engagement of players over the past four weeks at the Podium Opens and the positive feedback around the experiences had by all.

“I would like to extend a massive thank you to all the host clubs, competition leads and assessors who have ensured that the Podium events ran smoothly and achieved the aims of providing a highly competitive environment for our players to show what they can do.

“With the final selection now upon us, I would like to congratulate those who have made it to the next stage. Some experienced players have identified that they are taking some time out this summer and we would like to thank them for their time and engagement. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for those selected to attend the Assessment Days to showcase their talents and earn their place in the national team.”
