Birmingham 2022 - Day 7 Preview
We’re fast approaching the business end of Birmingham 2022 and day seven provides more crucial matches if Team Scotland are to add to their impressive medal tally so far.
Iain McLean faces two tough matches against Jersey’s Ross Davis and New Zealand’s Shannon McIlroy to round off his Men’s Singles section. It’s likely that Iain requires to win both games to advance to the knockout stages.
Our Men’s Fours team of Stewart Anderson, Darren Burnett, Paul Foster MBE and Alex Marshall MBE wrap up their section today with two tricky encounters against South Africa and New Zealand. The boys are also needing to win both matches to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Melanie Inness and Robert Barr will look to secure their place in Friday’s gold medal match in the Para Mixed Pairs B2/B3 when they play England in tonight’s semi-final at 6pm.
