Help Shape the Future of Try Bowls

This season has been another fantastic opportunity for clubs across Scotland to welcome new people into our sport. 

Following this year's National Try Bowls Weekend, Bowls Scotland has produced a National Try Bowls Weekend Review, reflecting on the successes of the campaign, celebrating achievements from clubs across the country and identifying opportunities to make next year's programme even stronger.

Our Try Bowls Club Survey 2026 is now open and takes just five minutes to complete.

Whether your club successfully delivered a Try Bowls event this season or decided not to run one, your feedback is equally important. The survey has been designed so that clubs only answer questions relevant to their experience, making it quick and easy to complete. 

Your responses will help us better understand: 

• What worked well for clubs this season. 

• How useful the Try Bowls Resource Pack and Bowls Scotland support were. 

• What challenges clubs experienced. 

• What prevented some clubs from delivering an event. 

• What additional support clubs would like to see in the future. 

Together with the findings from the National Try Bowls Weekend Review, your feedback will help shape the future development of the Try Bowls programme and ensure we continue to provide the right support, resources and opportunities for clubs across Scotland.
