Let the Games begin!
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games begin with the opening ceremony on Wednesday, and it's live in the UK on BBC One at 10.30am (BST).
The BBC has comprehensive coverage of the Games across TV, radio and online. They have listed their full schedule, with live streams to be announced once events have begun. Find out more here.
The lawn bowls competitions begin at Broadbeach BC on Thursday midnight (BST) with the preliminary rounds of the men's triples and women's singles, and on Thursday at 7am (BST) with the preliminary rounds of the men's pairs, B6/B7/B8 triples, women's fours and B2/B3 mixed pairs.
Team Scotland will lead the athletes' parade at the opening ceremony, with hurdler Eilidh Doyle chosen as flagbearer. Bowlers Alex Marshall and Paul Foster had been nominated for the honour along with shooter Jen McIntosh.
On being announced as flagbearer, Eilidh had kind words to say about all. Of Alex and Paul, she told BBC Sport Scotland that they "were so iconic in Glasgow and everyone fell in love with them; it would have been incredible for them to carry it [the flag]."
