Looking forward to working alongside Gilson Gray, Alan McMillan, CEO of Bowls Scotland, said: “Over the last few years, we have been looking to partner with companies that can add value to bowling clubs or offer savings against the increasing costs of running a club.
“It seems that there has been an increase in requests for expert legal advice regarding challenges affecting clubs. Therefore, I am pleased that we have been able to secure a partnership with Gilson Gray to allow clubs to connect and seek advice.
“Gilson Gray offers a full range of legal support, and I hope that our clubs and members begin to utilise their expertise and assistance. I very much look forward to working with Gilson Gray’s dedicated team over the coming year.”
Vanessa Kennedy, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Gilson Gray, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Bowls Scotland. Lawn bowls and law have a surprising amount in common. Both need precision, skill, enthusiasm and teamwork – not to mention the desire to win! As one of Scotland’s most prominent full-service law firms, we’re here to offer specialist legal services.
“Whatever it is you need, we’ll focus on you and your goals and help you reach them. We do this by teaming partners with accredited specialists and award-winning individuals. It’s a different approach, and, if you’ll forgive the pun, we think you’ll be bowled over by our service.
“We look forward to meeting the members at the National Championships in Ayr.”
