Development Team - Here to Help in 2018

Long-standing member of the Development Team Laura Kerr will be leaving the organisation following maternity leave. We wish Laura and her family all the best for the future.

An extension of sportscotland funding for the development officers will see those important roles continue to support clubs during 2018 and 2019. Lawra Cox, who has been fulfilling the role of Regional Development Officer (maternity cover), has now accepted an offer to continue her excellent work in this role.

Lawra has been working closely with clubs across the country on a range of development and child protection support - with clubs growing their membership, linking with schools and community groups, and improving their practice in a range of areas.

With the 2018 season now kicking off, the Development Team are here to support clubs in growing their membership and planning best practice for their clubs. Whether it is TryBowls support, linking with schools and community groups, guidance on legislation, or planning for your club’s future then get in touch with the development officers for support.
