National Try Bowls Weekend
National Try Bowls Weekend returns this May Bank Holiday (Friday 1st to Monday 4th May), with clubs across Scotland opening their gates to welcome you in.
Whether you have never picked up a bowl before or are simply curious to give it a go, this is your chance to experience one of Scotland’s Commonwealth Games sports in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Bowls is easy to learn, great fun and suitable for all ages. Come along on your own, bring friends, or make it a family outing. You will be warmly welcomed and supported every step of the way.
Clubs across the country will be running free, fun sessions throughout the weekend at various times.

What you need
Just dress for the weather and wear flat-soled shoes, such as trainers, to help protect the green. All equipment will be provided.
