District 6 crowned 2026 Andy Houston U18 champions

District 6 were crowned winners of the 2026 Andy Houston U18 Competition following a strong performance throughout the event.

Eleven district teams took part in the competition, with the opening stage split into two sections before the respective section winners progressed to the final.

District 13 finished top of Section One with 33 points, recording 11 wins from their 15 matches. District 17 followed closely behind with 31 points, while District 24 placed third on 21 points.

In Section Two, District 6 secured top spot with 27 points after winning nine of their 12 matches. District 12 finished second with 24 points, ahead of District 16 on 21.

That set up a final between District 6 and District 13, with District 6 producing an impressive performance across all three rinks.

They recorded victories of 11-2, 9-3 and 7-5 to complete a clean sweep and claim the 2026 title with a combined score of 27-10.

Congratulations to District 6 on being crowned champions, and well done to District 13 on a fantastic performance throughout the competition!
