Club Crisis Fund
We are pleased to launch a fourth and final round of the Club Crisis Fund to provide support to clubs that find themselves in financial difficulties as a direct result of COVID-19. Clubs can apply for up to £500 to help stabilise and manage cash flows as we progress out of the pandemic.
At the start of the COVID pandemic, the Bowls Scotland Board agreed to release £50,000 of reserves to support clubs via a Club Crisis Fund. After three rounds, we have awarded £32,941 to 35 clubs to support with green maintenance, utilities, and rent.
The Club Crisis Fund is open to all our affiliated clubs, however we will prioritise:
- Clubs with low levels of cash reserves
- Clubs at risk of losing their facilities
- Clubs ineligible or unsuccessful in receiving external grant funding
- Clubs in areas of high social deprivation
Clubs should submit a Bowls Scotland Club Crisis Fund Note of Interest Form to their National Development Officer by Wednesday 17th November. Click here to view the form.
