District Co-ordinators
In October 2020, following on from a review of the role of District Secretaries, Bowls Scotland took the decision to re-name the current position to District Co-Ordinator.
The re-branded modern name change from District Secretary to District Co-Ordinator reflects the assistance in several areas that these elected volunteers provide to our clubs.
Bowls Scotland District Co-Ordinator's main role is to support the delivery of Bowls Scotland's aims and objectives within a District setting. They are responsible for overseeing Stage 1 qualifying for the annual National Championships whilst also supporting clubs with guidance and advice on the latest initiatives being offered at a national level.
