Falkirk Falcons win 2025 Bowls Scotland Gents National Top 10

Falkirk Falcons were crowned Bowls Scotland Gents National Top 10 champions for 2025 at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr after defeating Dunbartonshire Dragons in this afternoon’s final.

In the singles, Billy Hutchison secured the first victory for the Falkirk Falcons as he got the better of Dunbartonshire Dragons’ Matthew Boyle 21-13.

The pairs went the way of Falkirk Falcons with Ritchie Keay & Gareth Crosbie winning 23-17 against Adam Lewis & Garry Wilson.

After a hard fought 18 ends, the triples also went in favour of the Falkirk Falcons. David Taylor, Barry Godfrey & Steven Allan ousted James Gray, George Campbell & Stephen Martin 16-13 in a brilliant contest between all six players.

Not going down without a fight, Dunbartonshire Dragons clinched a consolation victory in the fours. Gordon McLeod, Craig Weir, Andrew Calder & Drew Cunningham battled back from 0-8 down after three ends to eventually win 22-15 over Jack Cook, Graeme Wilson, Derek Davidson & Gary Stirling.

Congratulations to Falkirk Falcons on their 6-2 triumph and commiserations to Dunbartonshire Dragons for finishing this year’s event as runners-up.
