Amy and Emma Blyth win 2023 Linda Brennan Ladies U25 Pairs
Congratulations to Amy and Emma Blyth on winning the 2023 Linda Brennan Ladies U25 Pairs.
The sister pairing overcame Megan Lindsay and Emma Kennedy in a nail-biting final at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr. Amy and Emma Blyth raced into a 9-0 lead after six ends but counts of 1, 2, 4 & 1 for Megan Lindsay and Emma Kennedy left them only 1 shot behind going into the last end.
Trailing 8-9 at the last end, Megan Lindsay and Emma Kennedy held the two shots they required to win the title but a brilliant draw under pressure from skip, Emma Blyth, was enough to claim victory for her and her sister, Amy.
Amy and Emma will now represent Scotland at the 2023 British Isles Championships also being held at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th June.
