Podium Open Triples Qualifiers Confirmed
Bowls Scotland’s latest Podium events took place over the weekend, with players competing in the Podium Open Triples across Moray Bowling Club, Grangemouth Bowling Club and the National Centre for Bowling.
The Podium Open Triples form part of Bowls Scotland’s Drive to Success – Player Pathway, which provides a route for players and coaches to progress through the sport from grassroots to international level.
The Podium Open events are designed to offer players competitive opportunities across the country, allowing them to test themselves, develop relationships with teammates and be observed as part of the wider performance pathway.
Qualifiers from the weekend will now progress to the upcoming assessment weekend, where players will take part in a standardised assessment process including drills, gameplay and further evaluation. This process will support the selection of Scotland squads for the 2026/27 programme.
Bowls Scotland would like to thank all players, coaches, volunteers and host clubs for their support across the weekend.
