Emily Houston and Frazer Lees win Alan Michie Youth U15 Pairs

Well done to Emily Houston (Prestwick BC) and Frazer Lees (Inverkeithing BC), who won the Alan Michie U15 Youth Pairs today at Grangemouth Bowling Club.

The talented young duo impressively won all four of their group games with ease to finish top of Group A and qualify for the semi-finals.

In the semi-final, Emily and Fraser got the better of Zoe McEwan and Zach Cowie 12-3. Next up was the final against Lewis Smith and Corey Cadger. Some amazing bowls were played by both teams throughout the contest, but Emily and Fraser’s experience shown through to see them clinch an 8-1 victory.

Thanks to all 23 teams that took part in the competition and to Grangemouth Bowling Club for their hospitality all weekend.

A special mention to Frazer Lees who won both yesterday’s Ann Dennis Scottish Cup Youth Triples and today’s event. Excellent performances across the whole weekend to become a double national champion!
