Gallagher named title sponsor of the 2026 Bowls Scotland National Championships

Bowls Scotland is delighted to announce Gallagher as the title sponsor of the 2026 Bowls Scotland National Championships.

The event, which will be known as the Bowls Scotland National Championships sponsored by Gallagher, will take place at the National Centre for Bowling at Northfield, Ayr, from Saturday 8th to Saturday 15th August.

Gallagher is a global insurance broker and risk management firm and has been a valued partner of Bowls Scotland since 2023. Through the partnership, Gallagher provides affiliated bowling clubs across Scotland with access to specialist insurance services and advice tailored to their needs.

The company has a strong presence in Scotland, including an experienced team based in Glasgow, and has worked closely with clubs to help them protect their facilities, members and wider operations.

This will be the first time Gallagher has taken on the role of title sponsor for the National Championships, further strengthening its relationship with Bowls Scotland and the wider bowling community.

The National Championships are the pinnacle of the domestic outdoor season, bringing together qualifiers from clubs across Scotland to compete for national honours. The eight-day event is expected to welcome thousands of players, volunteers and spectators to Northfield.

Gallagher Insurance will be on-site for the duration of the National Championships. Clubs wishing to speak to a Gallagher representative about their insurance needs or request a quotation can do so from Saturday 8 August to Saturday 15 August.

Alternatively, clubs can provide Gallagher Insurance or the main Bowls Scotland office with a copy of their current insurance policy, along with a contact name and email address. Gallagher Insurance will aim to respond within 48 hours.
