Carla Banks and Kimberley Dodds defend Linda Brennan Ladies U25 Pairs title

Congratulations to Carla Banks and Kimberley Dodds on winning the 2022 Linda Brennan Ladies U25 Pairs.

The defending champions overcame Jaclyn Neil and Arianna Mowat in a thrilling final at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr. Both pairs held the lead over the course of the 11-end match, but it was Carla and Kimberley who had a 9-7 advantage going into the last end. Jaclyn and Arianna were potentially holding 2 shots which would have taken the game to an extra end, but Carla expertly drew to within a foot of the jack with her last bowl to claim the title for the second time.

Carla and Kimberley will now represent Scotland at the 2022 British Isles Championships at Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club, Wales.
