Lawn bowlers nominated for team of the year

The Team Scotland lawn bowlers have been shortlisted for team of the year at the Team Scotland Awards.

It's a wonderful recognition for the squad, who brought home a bronze, two silver and two gold medals from the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

They are shortlisted with Team Scotland basketball, Celtic FC and Scotland men's rugby.

Bowls Scotland CEO Alan McMillan said: “Everyone at Bowls Scotland is delighted that the hard work and achievements of the Team Scotland lawn bowls squad have been recognised by their shortlisting for team of the year. They represented themselves, their sport and their country with great honour at GC2018.”
