Anna Marshall Resigns As Director of Competition and Events

Bowls Scotland wishes to announce that Anna Marshall, Director of Competition and Events, has stepped down from her role on the Board of Bowls Scotland.
Anna has served on the Board since its inception in January 2011, initially as Finance Director and subsequently in the successful delivery of Bowls Scotland competitions and events under her current role.

She came to the Board with a wealth of knowledge and experience as the last secretary of the Scottish Women’s Bowling Association prior to the formation of Bowls Scotland in 2010.

Bowls Scotland hope that Anna will remain involved in some capacity, so that the sport can benefit from her vast experience and knowledge.

Scott Meechan remains as the strategic Director of Competitions and Events, supported by Claire Johnstone the Competition and Events Officer and the hard working Competition and Events group of Betty Aitken, Kaye Cullinan, vice president Jock Halliday and Tom Weir.

Bowls Scotland would like to take this opportunity to thank Anna for her tireless and positive contribution to the sport during her period on the Board.
