SCOTLAND V HONG KONG – DAY THREE REPORT
Scotland having already won the series before the commencement of day three did not rest on their laurels but instead continued to push hard in all three sessions.
Session One
Scotland kicked off the day in the mixed pairs and triples session with an impression 10 – 2 victory with the standout score being the experienced pairing of Beth Isbister and Lewis Betts defeating Mandy Ho and Nixon Man, 25 – 10.
At the other end of the green the pairing of Craig Mackintosh and Aimee Harris had a hard-fought game against Emmy Luk and Lyndon Sham, the Scottish pair scoring 11 shots in the final five ends only to narrowly miss out on the required three in the last end to take the 2 points.

Session Two
In Session two of the final day, Scotland’s Lee Trotter completed the first game with a strong performance in the singles defeating Stephen Sy 21 – 8. In the women’s Hong Kong China’s Angel So defeated Scotland’s Eilidh Weir in a tight encounter 21-17. The Scottish Men's pair of Craig MacKintosh and Lewis Betts delivered the victory with a final score of 21 – 13, but the story of the pairs was to sit with the Women's pair of Leah McCloy and Emma Blyth who scored a four in the final end to secure victory from the jaws of defeat against Hong Kong China’s Mandy Ho & Abbie Chan
The men's fours suffered defeat to the Hong Kong China four skipped by Lyndon Sham 21 – 15. The ladies' fours, in a strong performance secured the 2 points with a 17 – 12 victory.

- Women’s Fours -Beth Isbister, Rachel Pirie, Aimee Harris & Rebecca Houston beat Emily Chan, Emmy Luk, Queenie Lai & Gillian Ng

Session Three
In the final session of the series, Scotland maintained a strong performance, which has brought them victory in the series.
In women’s fours the Hong Kong China four skipped by Angel So, saw off the strong Scottish four skipped by Rebecca Houston with a four-shot victory for Hong Kong China. In the men’s fours, Stewart McAlees skipped Lee Trotter, Charlie Mitchell and Jamie Noon to a 23 – 4 win over Lyndon Sham’s rink.
In the triples the ladies triple in a close fought match managed to hold on for victory despite a late push from the Hong Kong China triple. In the men’s triple eight shots in the last four ends secured victory by 19 – 12.
