Mike Ross and Kyle Ross win 2024 European Open

Congratulations to Fortrose and Rosemarkie Bowling Club’s Mike Ross and Kyle Ross on winning the 2024 Bowls Scotland European Open in partnership with Erskine Veterans Charity.

The father and son pairing defeated Cameron Knox & Shaun Cairns, Sam Ronald & David Ronald, Joanna Cooper & Linda Ng and Alan Gordon & Andy Borthwick earlier in today’s knockout stages.

In the final, Mike and Kyle had to battle back from 1-5 and 4-7 behind to get the better of Ben Major and Stevie Dow 10-7 in a closely contested match. Well done to all four players on reaching the final and putting on a great spectacle of bowling!
