Sarah Roberts, Frazer Lees and Logan Fraser win 2024 Ann Dennis Youth Scottish Cup Triples

Congratulations to Sarah Roberts (Colinton BC), Frazer Lees (Inverkeithing BC) and Logan Fraser (Abbeyview BC), who won the 2024 Ann Dennis Youth Scottish Cup Triples today at Grangemouth Bowling Club.

The young trio topped Group E and went on to beat Ryan Cairnie, Lewis Thomson and Cameron Cairnie by the narrowest of margins 7-6 in the quarter-final. Next up was Emily Houston, Abbie Harris and Sarah Campbell, who they managed to get the better of 6-2.

In the final, the Edinburgh/West Fife team took on Finlay Rudge, Harrison Fisher and Liam Fairgrieve. The match was closely contested with some excellent bowls played by both teams but eventually it was Sarah, Fraser and Logan that came out on top with a 6-5 victory

Thanks to all 25 teams that took part in the event, Bowls Scotland President Frances Sandilands for presenting the prizes and also Grangemouth Bowling Club for hosting the event.

Tomorrow sees 24 teams compete in the Alan Michie Youth U15 Pairs which will also be held at Grangemouth Bowling Club.
