2026 AGM - Save the date!
2026 Bowls Scotland AGM - Wednesday 28th October 6:30PM
Following approval by the members to move to an accounting year end of 31 March, the 2026 Bowls Scotland AGM will be brought forward to October.
Pre-AGM Member Engagement Evening
Our Pre-AGM Member Engagement Evening will take place online on Tuesday 20 October 2026, from 6–7pm.
Board members and senior staff will provide an update on Bowls Scotland’s delivery and finances over the past year, look ahead to 2027 and outline the resolutions being presented at the AGM.
Members will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their views in a discussion outside the formal proceedings of the AGM.
Attendance is free. Please register using the booking link below by 4pm on Tuesday 20 October.

Voting Members are invited to vote on the reappointment of Gavin Smith as a General Director of Bowls Scotland.
Gavin Smith – General Director
Gavin has completed his first four-year appointment cycle and, in accordance with the Bowls Scotland Articles of Association, is eligible for reappointment for a second consecutive cycle.
The Board recommends his reappointment and invites Voting Members to vote in favour of his continuing service as General Director.

Voting Members can vote For or Against Gavin’s reappointment.
Voting closes at 5pm on Friday 23 October 2026.

Votes will be independently verified, and Gavin will be notified of the result before the AGM. The outcome will be announced following the main proceedings of the AGM and published on our website and social media channels.
