Club Shop Direct to sponsor Bowls Scotland E-Newsletter
We are excited to welcome onboard Club Shop Direct as our official E-Newsletter sponsor.
Bowls Scotland’s E-Newsletter was launched in June 2016 and has since grown to have over 3,300 subscribers. The Newsletter provides monthly roundups of key information to our clubs and members with the latest information and news from Bowls Scotland and our partners.
Based in East Kilbride, Club Shop Direct work with a wide range of bowling clubs across the UK. Helping them to raise funds, commissioning products to mark club anniversaries and supplying beautiful trophies for annual club competitions.
They supply a range of products specifically personalised to the club’s requirements. From mugs to diaries and keyrings to umbrellas, they have plenty of bespoke merchandise available to sell to members at competitive prices.
Club Shop Direct will link closely with your club every step of the way from design through to delivery. Their team of talented graphic designers will ensure your artwork looks fantastic to produce beautiful end results.
Delighted about this new sponsorship, Club Shop Direct’s Sales Director, Derek Young, said: “Bowling clubs across Scotland play a vital role in their local communities and we are delighted to support clubs through their governing body, Bowls Scotland.
“Have a chat with us to see how we can help your club raise extra funds. You will also love our range of beautifully engraved glass trophies which are a little different from traditional trophies for the winners of your club competitions.”
Bowls Scotland CEO, Alan McMillan, added: “I’m pleased that we have been able to secure this deal with Club Shop Direct to sponsor our E-Newsletter over the next year.
“They are a well-established business within the merchandise industry, which I’m sure many of our clubs already have and will benefit from their services in the future. Commercial deals like this are vitally important to help grow our sport so this is another positive move for lawn bowls in Scotland.”
Member clubs are invited to send their club crest to Derek, who will arrange a free personalised product to be made. A starter pack brochure will also be sent explaining everything and giving examples of how much the club can expect to raise.
