Kim Walker steps down as Chair of Board of Directors

Bowls Scotland can confirm that Kim Walker has stepped down from her role as Chair of our Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Having been appointed in August 2023, Kim oversaw the launch of Bowls Scotland’s new four-year Strategy at the beginning of this year. Due to personal reasons, Kim has now unfortunately taken the difficult decision to resign from her role.

Director of Governance, David Scouller, will now take on the role as interim Chair until a permanent appointment is made. Paying tribute to Kim’s time with Bowls Scotland, David said: “I would like to thank Kim for her hard work and commitment to our sport throughout the last year in her role as Chair.

“My fellow Board Directors and I now look forward to appointing a new permanent Chair in due course.”
