Scotland continued their Four Nations campaign on Wednesday 29 April, taking on Malaysia across another full day of international action at Glasgow Indoor Bowling Club.

Following Tuesday’s opening fixtures against Ireland, Scotland returned to the green for Day 2 with matches across singles, pairs, para pairs and VI mixed pairs.

There were strong performances across the team, with Scotland picking up important results in several disciplines as the standings continued to take shape ahead of the final round-robin fixtures.

Mary Stevenson and Robert Barr continued their impressive form in the VI mixed pairs, producing another strong day against Graham and Marshall. Their results leave Scotland well placed in the discipline going into Thursday’s fixtures.

In the para men’s pairs, Gary Brown and Stuart Sloan also delivered a positive day against Singh and Mohamad, adding valuable points to their campaign ahead of the final day of round-robin play.

Scotland also recorded positive results in the singles, with Caroline Brown in action against Emma Firyana Bt Saroji in the women’s singles, while Jason Banks faced Izzat Shameer Bin Dzulkeple in the men’s singles.

Across the other disciplines, Scotland faced competitive contests against a strong Malaysian team, with several matches involving close sets and tie-breaks.
