District, Youth & Para Coordinator Recruitment
Help Shape the Delivery of Bowls!
Bowls Scotland is looking for organised, local leaders to join us in three vital volunteer roles: District Coordinators (DC), District Youth Coordinators (DYC) and our brand-new Para Coordinators (PC).
As we look toward the 2026 season, these roles are at the heart of our National Championship delivery and club support network.
District & Youth Coordinator Roles:
The DC & DYC is an essential local representative, serving as the lead for National Competition delivery within your area. This is a diverse, ambassadorial role with a 4-year term. Main roles include;
- Lead Competitions: You are the designated representative for your District's clubs, taking the lead on the coordination and smooth running of the National Championship qualifying stages.
- Club Engagement: Maintain a strong working relationship with all affiliated clubs in your District.
- Local Ambassador: Act as a primary point of contact between Bowls Scotland and your local bowlers for competitions.
New - Para Coordinator Roles:
Following the continued growth of para bowls in Scotland, we are introducing these new roles to lead on National Competition delivery to ensure dedicated support for para-athletes.

Coordinate Events: You are the designated representative to lead on the coordination and smooth running of the National Championship qualifying stages.

Para Support: Work with our competitions and development team to ensure para-bowlers have a safe, accessible and optimal environment to compete.

District 17 – Ladies Coordinator
District 25 – Youth Coordinator
District 29 – Youth Coordinator
