2023 World Bowls Championships - Day Eight Preview

Team Scotland are ready for another action-packed day of World Bowls Championships contests.

Today sees the group stages in the Women’s Pairs, Women’s Triples, Men’s Singles and Men’s Fours continue. Despite there still being another two days of group matches to be completed, today is a crucial day for the Scottish teams as they face a number of strong nations at the top end of their respective sections.

Session 1 – 11.30pm (BST):

  • Group Match 3/7: Women’s Pairs – Emma McIntyre & Claire Anderson v Macao
  • Group Match 4/7: Women’s Triples – Carla Banks, Stacey McDougall & Caroline Brown v Niue
  • Group Match 4/7: Men’s Fours – Jason Banks, Derek Oliver, Paul Foster MBE & Alex Marshall MBE v Samoa

Session 2 – 2.30am (BST):

  • Group Match 4/7: Women’s Pairs – Emma McIntyre & Claire Anderson v Canada
  • Group Match 5/7: Women’s Triples – Carla Banks, Stacey McDougall & Caroline Brown v Malaysia
  • Group Match 3/9: Men’s Singles – Iain McLean v Jersey
  • Group Match 5/7: Men’s Fours – Jason Banks, Derek Oliver, Paul Foster MBE & Alex Marshall MBE v England

Session 3 – 5.45am (BST):
