Kieran Dodds and Danny Stevenson win 2025/26 Andy Meekison Gents U25 Pairs

Well done to Kieran Dodds and Danny Stevenson on winning the 2025/26 Andy Meekison Gents U25 Pairs.

The pairing from East Lothian Co-Operative Bowling Club got the better of defending champions Calvin Bogie and Stewart McAlees 17-4 in today’s final.

Kieran and Danny raced into a 5-0 lead after three ends which proved to be to be the defining factor in the match. Calvin and Stewart did manage to reduce the deficit to 7-3 after six ends and held shot but an excellent single bowl take out from Danny swung the momentum back in the East Lothian pairings favour.

Hardlines to Calvin and Stewart who were worthy finalists, winning five matches throughout the competition to put up a great defence of their title.

Kieran and Danny will now compete in next year’s British Bowls Championships at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr. Best of luck to both players when representing Scotland.
