Para bowlers train in Spain

The Team Scotland para bowlers will this week be in the Valencia region of Spain on a training camp as the preparations for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games begin to gather pace. 

The B6/B7/B8 open triple and the B2/B3 mixed pair will take part in a number of training sessions and competitive matches arranged at Quesada Bowling Club and El Rancho Bowling Club, the latter of the two providing comparable green speeds to what can be expected at the Games.

As well as top club level players, Quesada BC has also arranged a team of Spanish international players to provide some quality opposition.
