British Bowls set to arrive in Ayr this June

Some of the best bowlers from across Britain and Ireland will head to the National Centre for Bowling in Ayr this June, as Scotland prepares to host a packed week of British Bowls action.

Taking place from Tuesday 23 June to Sunday 28 June, the event will bring together representatives from Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales and Jersey across the British Bowls Championships, Para British Bowls Internationals and British Bowls Internationals.

The British Bowls Championships will take place on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 June, with national champions from each country going head-to-head for British titles across their respective disciplines. The competition provides a fantastic opportunity for players who have enjoyed domestic success to test themselves against the best from the other home nations.

The Para British Bowls Internationals will run from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 June, giving para players the chance to represent their country in a highly competitive international environment.

Attention will then turn to the British Bowls Internationals from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June, where Scotland will take on England, Ireland, Wales and Jersey in a multi-discipline international series.

Bowls Scotland looks forward to welcoming players, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators to Ayr for what promises to be a fantastic week of top-class bowls.
