Scotland disciplines confirmed for 2023 British Isles Internationals

Bowls Scotland’s High Performance Coaches have now confirmed the playing disciplines for the 2023 British Isles Internationals.

Scotland will take on England, Ireland, Jersey and Wales at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr from Friday 30th June – Sunday 2nd July.

The 24 male and 24 female players selected have been split into two separate teams, Scotland Saltire and Scotland Thistle, which will feature a Men’s & Women’s Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours. Following Darren Burnett’s retirement from outdoor international bowls, Liam McKay has been brought into Scotland Thistle’s men’s team as a travelling reserve.
