National Volunteers Week 2019

As part of National Volunteers Week for 2019, Bowls Scotland would like to share a thank you with each and every one of our hard working volunteers throughout the country.

We appreciate all the behind the scenes work you carry out to allow the sport of bowls to grow and prosper in Scotland.

Head of Coach and Volunteer Development, Craig Bolan, said: “Our sport wouldn’t be able to function without volunteers. They are absolutely vital to what we do whether it’s coaching, helping out around the club or maintaining greens. Our District Secretaries are all hard working volunteers that put a lot of hard work and effort into their role. The National Championships is the biggest and best week in the bowling calendar and this event definitely could not be a success without so many people giving up their time to help out where possible.”
