2023 National Championships - Playing Schedule
We are pleased to share the provisional schedule of play for the 2023 National Championships which will be held at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr from Sunday 23rd – Saturday 29th July.
Following feedback on last year’s Championships from players, spectators, officials and volunteers, a number of tweaks have been made to the schedule for 2023. There will now be three medal days with the age category disciplines (Under 25 Singles, Over 55 Singles and Over 55 Fours) and the Para Open Pairs being the first national titles to be awarded on Tuesday 25th July.
On Wednesday 26th July, the Mixed Pairs final will also take place alongside the various Para Singles categories. The Championships will then be rounded of on Saturday 29th July with the finals of the Gents & Ladies Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours taking place as well as the Youth (Under 17) Singles, Pairs and Triples finals.
We hope that the changes made to the schedule will be welcomed by players and spectators alike and allow for the Championships to be more aligned across the Gents, Ladies, Para and Youth disciplines.
