Eve Wallace appointed new Competitions and Events Officer

Bowls Scotland are delighted to announce the appointment of Eve Wallace as the new Competitions and Events Officer.

Eve joins Bowls Scotland with vast experience in the Competitions and Events industry having previously been part of the Conferencing and Events team at Strathclyde University. She also worked as Sports Event Co-ordinator at the 2018 European Championships held in Glasgow.

The Competitions and Events Officer role is an important role within Bowls Scotland and will see Eve work alongside Competitions and Events Manager, Claire Johnston, assisting in the planning and delivery of all Bowls Scotland’s Competitions & Events.

Eve, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the team at Bowls Scotland as the Competition and Events Officer. The sporting events industry is not only something I have experience in but is an industry I have a great deal of love for. I am very excited to be given the chance to work within the sport of bowls and look forward to the challenges this post brings.”

Bowls Scotland’s Competitions and Events Manager, Claire Johnston, said: “I am looking forward to welcoming Eve to Bowls Scotland. With Eve’s previous skills and knowledge, I am sure she will be a great asset to the Competition & Events team. Eve will be joining us at a key time with the build up to the outdoor season beginning and supporting our busy calendar of events”

Eve will begin her new post with Bowls Scotland on Monday 9th March 2020.
