Vacancy - Volunteer Coach Education Tutor

Bowls Scotland are looking to recruit enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our existing tutors to form a new extended workforce to support the continued development of our coach education and volunteer development programme. Our aim is to ensure we have a quality workforce supporting our players and clubs across Scotland.

Whilst COVID halted our progress in 2020, it also provided us with an opportunity to reflect and review our existing offerings and put in place a robust coach education and development plan for 2021 and beyond.

We are restructuring the way we deliver our Coach Education Pathway and seek to recruit enthusiastic and passionate Volunteer Coach Education Tutors to deliver our Intro to Bowls Coaching Award (our entry level qualification). These new Volunteer Coach Education Tutors will be responsible for upskilling club coaches to allow them to deliver fun, safe & positive coaching sessions, as well as being coaching role models & mentors in the local community.

Please read the Person Specification and Role Descriptor for more information or feel free to call Adam Martin, Bowls Scotland Coach and Volunteer Manager, for an informal discussion on 07591 825874.
