Bowls is one of the biggest participation sports in Scotland with 807 clubs and 50,000 playing members of those clubs. We are seeking a committed individual with a passion for sport in Scotland to fulfil the vacancy of Chair of the Board of Directors of Bowls Scotland. Working as part of a team of Directors, the successful candidate will understand the challenges and opportunities facing sport and possess the necessary leadership qualities to help shape the future of lawn bowls in Scotland.
As Chair, you will contribute to the strategic running of the Company and focus on specific tasks, outlined in the role descriptor. This challenging role will suit highly motivated and committed individuals, who feel they can make a positive contribution to Bowls Scotland’s future.
