Craig, said: “I’m incredibly excited to start working as the Performance Operations Manager for Bowls Scotland. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with some fantastic people in coaching and volunteering during the last 18 months. I’ve gained a great insight into the work undertaken by our clubs and associations providing opportunities for bowlers to become future High-Performance players. This is a great opportunity for me to use my skills and experience to work with some outstanding coaches and players to further enhance what is already a highly successful High Performance Programme”
Bowls Scotland CEO, Alan McMillan, said: “The High Performance Review in 2019 highlighted the need to put in place a Performance Operations Manager. This role is different from the previous High Performance Manager role and will look at supporting those that are the experts in bowls. With Craig’s understanding and background in performance sport he will be a great asset to building towards winning medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.”
Craig will begin his new post with Bowls Scotland on Monday 16th March 2020.
