Brenda Hanna appointed Administrative & Finance Officer

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Brenda Hanna as Bowls Scotland’s new Administrative & Finance Officer.

Brenda joins Bowls Scotland with extensive experience in finance and administration, primarily in the legal sector. During her 10 years working at the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in England and Wales, Brenda was one of the companies equality allies and represented the business on stalls at various political conferences.

In her role as Finance & Administrative Officer, Brenda will support the delivery of the Bowls Scotland’s strategy by delivering high quality, efficient, customer focussed administration and operational support as well as effective finance and budget management.

Pleased to be starting her new role, Brenda said: “I am looking forward to getting to know our clubs and volunteers, and engage with colleagues across Bowls Scotland to provide admin and finance support”.

Bowls Scotland Business Operations Manager, Sarah Pryde-Smith, added: “On the back of staff changes and our recent KPMG audit, we took some time to review the support required in the area of finance and administration. 

“I am delighted to welcome Brenda to the Bowls Scotland team. She brings a wealth of experience, and I am sure she will fit in nicely to our administration team.”
