Welcome to the Team - Our new Try Bowls Activators

We announced in January that Bowls Scotland will invest £65,000 over 3 years (2023-2026) to create 24 Try Bowls Activator (TBA) positions across Scotland as part of the existing Try Bowls membership growth programme. After an open recruitment process, we are delighted to announce we have 8 Try Bowls Activators covering 8 Local Authority areas. 

These new positions will provide additional support to help address the decline in playing membership but will also allow for more focused support at a local level. Our National Development Officers will now have increased capacity to help develop strong and sustainable clubs via our BowlsMark club development programme.

Information has been sent to clubs in these 8 local authority areas, however, please get in touch with your NDO if you have not received this.
