Vacancies - 8x Try Bowls Activators
Bowls is one of the biggest participation sports in Scotland with over 800 clubs and 50,000 members.
In 2023, we recruited 8 Try Bowls Activators (TBA’s) as part of a 3-year (2023-2025) commitment to provide strong, meaningful, localised support for clubs. Specifically, community to club transition, retention, and membership growth in addition to the support provided by our wonderful National Development Officers.
Our ambition is to have 24 TBA’s in place by 2025, with a further 8 positions available this year. TBA’s are voluntary positions, however clothing, IT equipment, coaching qualifications and travel expenses will be paid.
We encourage applications from all sectors of the bowling community and would particularly welcome applications from females, rural communities and people with a disability, as underrepresented groups in the bowing workforce.
