Vacancy - Communications Officer (fixed term)
Bowls Scotland is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated individual to join our team at an exciting time for lawn bowls in Scotland. We are looking for a proactive communicator who is passionate about challenging stereotypes and promoting a modern, inclusive image of our sport. This is a pivotal role within our team, responsible for overseeing all internal and external communications. You will lead on storytelling that showcases the success of our elite athletes, including preparation for the 2026 Commonwealth Games, while also supporting grassroots club engagement through national campaigns like Try Bowls.
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects and a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and sound knowledge and experience of communications software, social media platforms and Microsoft Office products and the internet are essential for this role.
