Coach Education Subsidy

With huge thanks to additional investment from our key partners at sportscotland, we are delighted to announce that we have created a Coach Education Subsidy Fund for our clubs. This will allow individuals or clubs to apply for 50%, 75% or 100% discount on our Bowls Scotland education costs.

Bowls Scotland and sportscotland have invested £6,000 in the initial rounds of subsidy which will be open from 12th December 2023 to 31st March 2024.

The following five target areas have been identified to increase the number of qualified coaches:

• Female coaches
• Coaches aged 16-25 years old
• Coaches with a disability
• Coaches from rural areas
• Coaches from areas of social deprivation
