Scotland have to settle for second place in Men's & Women's 2022 Junior Internationals

Scotland’s men and women had to settle for second place in both of their respective series at the 2022 Junior Internationals.

Both teams lost to England in their first match but bounced back well to beat Wales and Ireland. Unfortunately, these two victories weren’t enough to win the men’s and women’s series as both teams missed out on their respective titles courtesy of shot difference.

A special shout out must go to women’s team captain, Rachel Sinclair, and her rink of Amy Borthwick, Eilidh Weir and Rebecca Houston, who were the only Scottish rink to win all three of their matches over the course of the weekend.

Well done to all players, selectors, and team managers. A huge thank you also to Belmont Bowling Club for their hospitality throughout the event.
