10 Year Anniversary

Bowls Scotland would like to wish all our clubs and members throughout the country a very Happy New Year!

2021 marks our 10-year anniversary of being the single national governing body for lawn bowls in Scotland. In this time, thanks to our dedicated clubs, members and volunteers, we have made some amazing memories and achieved so much by working together.

Bowls Scotland CEO, Alan McMillan, said: “We are very excited to have reached this 10-year milestone as an organisation and launch our new logo for 2021.

“The progress and changes that have taken place in Scottish bowls in this time have been incredible, but we know there’s still a lot more work to be done to make our sport and clubs sustainable for the future. I am fully aware of just how challenging the last 10 months have been for our members and clubs. However, we will continue to do everything we can to support everyone as best as possible.

“Please continue to lookout for new initiatives throughout the year as we celebrate this anniversary and everything that’s great about our wonderful game. We hope everyone has a safe and healthy 2021.”
