This season Bowls Scotland have been sharing club stories, focussing on 3 key messages: Reassure members, Reconnect the community, Respect Covid guidance. This video tells a story from Yoker BC who pride themselves on being a community club with a community focus.

The Academy at Yoker BC in Glasgow has made a huge difference to the club over the past few years.

Funding and support from Glasgow Sport helped the club provide kit and equipment to the children within the Academy but the dedication of volunteers and coaches is shaping the lives of these young children.

With both new adult and junior members as well as use of the club being extended to a local dance group, the future looks full of promise for this club that is truly at the heart of the community.
