Vacancy - 8x Try Bowls Activators positions
Bowls is one of the biggest participation sports in Scotland with 821 clubs and 50,000 members. However, membership is in decline and after recent Strategy consultation sessions and data collected through the 2022 Try Bowls survey, we have identified a need for strong, meaningful, localised support for clubs; specifically, community to club transition, retention, and membership growth.
We are excited to announce that over a 3-year period (2023-2026), and in partnership with clubs and other local partners, Bowls Scotland will create 24 Try Bowls Activator positions across Scotland. In this first year of the programme, we are seeking to recruit 8 Try Bowls Activators.
Try Bowls Activators are voluntary positions, however clothing, IT equipment, coaching qualifications and travel expenses will be paid.
