In her role as Chair, Kim will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Board, taking a shared responsibility for monitoring progress made towards achieving the organisation’s strategy.

Excited about her new role, Kim said: “This is an opportunity to build upon the great work that David Scouller has carried out as Interim Chair.

“I am very much looking forward to working with the CEO and the Board in implementing the new strategy. Bowls is at the heart of Scottish and Commonwealth heritage, and I hope that I can contribute to its ongoing success.”

Speaking on Kim’s appointment, Bowls Scotland Interim Chair, David Scouller, added: “I would like to congratulate Kim on her appointment.

“Her experience in business development and strategic management will be of great benefit to the Board achieving its objectives going forward. I very much look forward to working alongside her.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Directors, the CEO and the staff for the support I received during my term as Interim Chair. I look forward to continuing in my role as Director of Governance until 2024.”
