Bowls Scotland announced in 2023 that we have committed to working towards a 5-year business sustainability plan to reduce our carbon footprint as a governing body of sport.

Over the winter of 2022 our staff completed the Carbon Champions training course organised by the University of the West of Scotland. Bowls Scotland were one of 27 South Ayrshire companies involved, receiving consultancy and training to help complete a specific carbon reduction plan for our organisation.
