Andrew Reilly and Andrew Thomson win 2023 European Open

Congratulations to Westhill Bowling Club’s Andrew Reilly and Andrew Thomson on winning the 2023 Bowls Scotland European Open in partnership with Erskine.

The Aberdeenshire pairing defeated David Kelly & Mark Kelsey, Steven Dick & Ian Garioch, Mark Thomson & Mark Biondi and Connar Robertson & Dylan Robertson earlier in today’s knockout stages.

In the final, the two Andrew’s defeated the local pairing of Brian Williams and Kerr Harris from Annbank Bowling Club 11-10 in a closely contested match. Well done to all four players on reaching the final and putting on a great spectacle of bowling.
